Just like you have taken the time to what if "war game" if a crisis occurred at work, in the car, or taken the time to plan for the family summer vacation, it is prudent to consider/have a plan (Plan of Action) of what you and family would do if attacked at home. Home Defense Course The Who Anyone or group serious about defending their family, loves ones, or home will find home defense course training is precious. HDC gives you the ability to better plan and prepare for the outcome you want every time you're ever in a fight/crisis in your home. Without HDC, you have no control of the result. The HDC is for Individuals, Families, and Private Groups. B.A.D.A has a 5-student minimum for HDC. So, invite friends or neighbors to join you and your group to take the HDC. Course Description HDC delivers the knowledge, skills fundamental to plan for a crisis to occur inside of your home with the ability to have a plan of action in place. The most common reason for an individual to purchase a firearm is to defend their family. HDC tackles and covers a wide range of topics. From the proper mindset, how to prepare your home for safety(strongpoint), use of force, Situational awareness (SA), and shooting techniques. HDC gives you and your family the peace of mind you need at home with a plan to win. Prerequisite: Proof of Shooting Experience Completed Level 2 Intermediate / Advanced (or) Former Military or L.E. Course Outline: Part I Safety Procedures Introduction to Defensive Shooting Proper Mindset Situational Awareness Responding to Threat Confronting the Intruder / Attacker Part II Shooting Skills Shooting Fundamentals CQB Utilization of Concealment / Cover Defensive Shooting Skills Clearing Malfunctions Low Light Choosing a Weapon Weapon Ammunition Type Part III Use of Force / Self Defense Making Your Home Safer The Safe Room Emergency Plans Safe Storage of Defense Firearms We believe in the basic fundamental of 'train as you fight".
